The Tasting Room
23 May 2020
To All Of Our Friends:
Governor Cooper issued a clarification to Executive Order 141 in which wineries are now allowed to open. We are excited to see everyone again, even with all the limits and restrictions.
We will be open Friday – Sunday Noon to 5:00 PM for the next few weeks. We hope to resume normal hours once Phase Three is in place.
We find ourselves in new waters to navigate. Most important is the safety and health of our guests and staff. There is a lot of “we don’t know what we don’t know”, but we do know we need to maximize our care for each other until this crisis abates.
Please have patience and understanding as we re-open in stages over the next few weeks. Further complicating our opening is the construction, which the rain has continued to postpone. The original order preventing our opening would have given us next week to repair the parking lot and build the seat wall in front of the tasting room; but as it stands both areas can be a hazard so please take care when visiting. Caution tape will warn you of the footings ditch in front of the tasting room.
A few important notes:
We will have bottle and glass sales only on the front tasting room patio, using disposable glasses. (think Festival-like).
The Tasting Room is closed for entry. Restrooms may be accessed through the side door adjacent to the ADA parking area. They will be cleaned routinely throughout the day.
We will not be holding tastings or sampling at this time.
Patio tables are spaced six feet apart per the Order. No more than six guests are allowed at a table. Please do not rearrange tables.
We will be wearing face masks or coverings as well as gloves. We encourage our guests to wear face coverings until seated and replace them upon leaving.
No groups larger than 6 persons are permitted.
No one under 21 during this time.
Pets are, as always, welcome but must be well-behaved and on a short leash.
We thank everyone for your patience and support. Cheers!
Tastings and open wine service ends at 4:30pm.
We are closed the following days:

We are pet friendly outdoors. Please keep your pet on a leash at all times. And, please pick up after them... everyone appreciates that!

We have all members of the group taste the same set of wines and we ask that one person pay for all tastings.
