I bought this wine in December of 2022, but just recently opened it @ 2 - 3 weeks ago, and WOW! It was really delicious. Honestly, when I purchased it I felt that it was a bit too expensive, but after tasting it I admit it was worth every dollar. I do not like dry wines, and although this wine is listed as very dry I didn’t think it was too dry, nor too sweet. It was my first time tasting the Petite Manseng grape, and it did not disappoint. Perhaps the lushness of the grape influenced the smoothness and tropical fruit explosion that I tasted, my opinion only. I shared this bottle with my son, who works in a 5-star restaurant and he enjoyed it as well. I plan to visit with the wine passport again in 2023, and hope to again visit the jones von drehle winery. I see at least three bottles of this wine in my future, two for me and one for my son for a Christmas gift. I hope to be able to try the new bubbly on my next visit, as it wasn’t quite ready on my previous visit.
